Through Thick and Thin... From 2 to 5!!

Today is our 11 year wedding anniversary. I cannot believe that it has been that long. In looking through pictures of us I noticed how much we have changed from year to year. Through thick and thin, young to old, from just the two of us to our family of five we still love to be together.

And...before I forget red socks Ryan, white socks Chris. Good job everyone!

I love this shot of them riding the "Big Shot" I searched for hours for the perfect picture and I just had to use this one. I bet that is how they feel today when they think about how old they are getting.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE ELI

So all you other Aunts & Uncles out there I beg you not to get jealous, but yes this is a special post for Uncle Eli. I am posting it because a) it is his birthday today!! b) we RARELY see him and we miss him so much, and c) we had a ward party this past weekend and we had to wear clothing from our favorite school. The kids all have Clemson jerseys and Ryan and I have shirts so we all wore them. Eli I hope you are proud. We forgot to get family pictures, but we did take pictures of the kids. And...yes Eli I did print out these pictures to send with your "late" package. We love you and hope you have a great day!!

Our Special Weekend

We had a very special weekend. Peyton's baptism was on Saturday, and D.J.'s blessing was on Sunday. It was so nice to have our families here for these two special occasions. We missed all of you that could not make it.

Chris took Tanner, Scout, Grandma Suzie, and Terry boating on Saturday morning. They tried their hardest to throw Scout off the tube, but she stayed on....mean brothers!!

Lake Powell with Uncle Chris

We made our first trip to Lake Powell over Labor day weekend. It was so beautiful and we had so much fun. The weather wasn't the greatest, but we were able to make the most of it and do a little touring and boating. Thanks Uncle Chris for a great weekend!!!

Here is Ryan wakeboarding. The boys tried to their hardest to land a 360, but they still haven't got it quite yet. I was finally able to make it in and out of the wake, after many wipeouts!!
